Allan Ackerman offers a DVD going over many different counts. His Rhythm Count (aka Rumba Count), is a great replacement for the Flushtration Count. Check it out here:

I think there's probably always that one special, awkward, irritating, smartarse person (bless 'em) that might spot one or other of these various counts.

I'd always had a very high opinion of the Olram subtlety which seems to sail past people, until one little git was completely unfooled by it.

But what can you do? Do the moves as well as you can, and if once in a blue moon you get caught just have the nerve to get back on the horse next time.

Yeah, fair enough - nothing's going to fool 100% of people 100% of the time.

And I agree with whoever mentioned blank cards. I think it is a better sleight for showing all the cards to be blank, or perhaps all the cards red or blue backed. If you start trying to use it to show you've got 8 black kings, then change so you've got 8 red queens, then 8 jokers, well, it just gets silly and obvious.
