It's already happening.

See this thread - http://www.talkmagic.co.uk/ftopic16858.php

You have just missed one, but there will be another one soon.

Although it is not really beginers thing we will welcome all comers. But what with it being in a pub you may find it a bit tricky.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

Maybe as we meet quite near Covent Garden, we could meet actually in or around the main square when the weather gets a bit warmer. There are plenty of bars with outside areas where younger members could join us, and also get to see some decent street performances.

I want to share a thought about being a beginner magician.
There are a lot of clubs for young magician but not for someone who's 23 and who is a beginner. :(
That's annoying.

Both Davenports and International magic run magic courses for any age and the the beginner to average skill level. At Davenports its £50 for one day, and £120 for the whole three days mate. You can see whats to be learnt on each of the three days on there website! Theres always somewhere if you look hard enough!

What the heck come along to one of our meets we're hardly the unfriendliest bunch. Unless you don't drink beer, then you risk an afternoon of concentrated ridicule. As for skill level, well, don't worry. Just don't. Although be warned that Greedo likes to pretend he's Dai Vernon at times and raps your knuckles with his wand if you don't do a perfect faro, but just ignore him. Your worst prospect is getting a card in the eye from one of my charmingly erratic hotshot attempts, or a lap full of beer, again from my cheekily endearing inability to manipulate cards without laying waste to my immediate surroundings.
