Now we have all seen those american ads, but I am wondering if there is anything we can get in England where you can just clap on or off your main bedroom light switch?

Cheers guys!

haha - what can I say?

and does it take electrical knowledge to install?

It's just something I wanna shove in my bedroom really...and I am not all technical no-how with all the "take socket off wall, but red and blue wire onto black wire" e.t.c

Maplin's will probably sell a gizmo that does exactly what you want. Be strong, however. Their web site is notorious for inducing attacks of CUPS.

You can buy remote control adaptors for your sockets, plug your lamps or 'other appliances' into them and you can switch 'em on and off without all the annoying physical activity of getting up.

If someone were to give you a round of applause after performing a particularly good trick in your bedroom, would that not result in some sort of weird strobe effect?

The cash being dropped on the floor afterwards might trigger it though?

I was about to say, It may get triggered by a gust of wind slamming your door shut, then it would rack up your electrical bill no end.

All the best,

That's certainly a danger with young Beardy's 'exotic' diet.
