I love this effect and hope you do too.

I was out on Sat and a lady I didn't know said "Oh you're the coin bender!" (Pretty chuffed as normally get called far worse things..)

The mis direction is easy - Before I have bent the specs coin, looked at it, thought it needed a bigger bend and was done and dusted as she finished drawing on the coin.

Goddammnit, I took the plunge and forked out my hard earned dosh and got a badly engineered gimmick.
Reading the reviews on here its obvious some people are having problems with leaving marks on the coin.
I only received mine today but so far every one I've tried has left a mark. Not just a tiny mark either, a glaringly obvious one.
I dont mind getting the file out if need be cos this looks a fine device but can anyone help if they have had this problem and rectified it.
I guess World Magic Shop will exchange but i'd quite welcome a remedy.

Mine leaves marks as well but not really had issues recently about people commenting.

I too would like to know if filing it down helps at all as don't want to risk it on something so expensive but oh so beautful.

It's the perfect closer to any set and for most types of performers

Don't file it down - return it to WMS for a return so that they can then inform their supplier that there's a potential production problem.

If you do this then you may end up helping to resolve a problem that will help those who buy it in the future.

Mine has never left a mark on a coin so in defence of WMS, you'll always get one or two that slip through the quality control net.

I don't think I could live without this little beauty for so long. I'll grab them at a convention at some point and see what they can do. (IB?)

I'm not worried about it but it would be so much better if marks were never left.

If the marks left didnt jump out and grab ya by the throat I could live with it, but this is a fairly expensive prop and like Dat says, someone has got to let them know about the fault and give them a chance to rectify it.

Anyone know how to clean up the coins as they get tarnished? I didn't want to drop them in a cup of cola.

Thank you. I tried google but all I was getting was cleaning services

The answer as i tried this weekend is Brasso!

A little bit goes a long way and it cleans them up almost good as new. Just thought I would share incase anyone else is having the same issues with tarnished coins
