I have a great way of dealing with hecklers ask Magicmonkey.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

I agree if your a pro it doesn't look very professional if you get into a slanging match with a few punters. Or if your a hobbyist just walk away and say that its only a bit of fun so I'm not taking any abuse.

Whats the point in wasting your time on someone who doesn't want to see magic.

Or if all else fails get them to hold a large piece of paper and just before you light it ask them do they know what flash paper is. (For legal reasons I must state that I do not condone this behaviour and shall not be held responsible for any lost eyebrows). :D

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.

You could carry around a deck with a willy drawn on a card already and then show the spec you already have a card like that. you needed the name to differentiate! Then, you'd also have a (slightly lewd) humorous card ready to go, especially if it's a duplicate of another. 8)

Seriously, though. I agree with the "don't get confrontational" approach. Hitting a powder keg is generally a bad idea.
