T&R card effects can be nice but like people have said before they can also be a lot of hassle.

Mark Wilson's CCIM has a nice simple one in it; There are a couple in Paul Harris's Art of Astonishment which includes an impromptu version; Theo Annemann's card magic has another simple one; Death by Cards by BBM has a nice version with two different cards fused together.

I mention all the above as they are part of a book or DVD which has other great material on them. Hopefully you will get something out of them and not buy a one trick pony to be banished to the magic drawer.

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.

I like Mark Wilson's version, nice, simple and very easy to do.

I.D wrote:Personally I think if you want commercial t&r plots that are absolutely useable in real world performances, then Sankey has some nice ones on his DVDs, the one I am thinking of is on one of his ' best of Sankey ' DVDS.. where a card is torn, then a plaster appears over the tear, and when it is removed the card is completely normal.. oh and the card is signed!!

I like the sound of that one. Love alot of Sankeys work, Ill check it out thanks :D

Theres a T&R in a recent issue of Genii that is quite nice.

Minimal prep. i.e. it will take you 20secs at most.
Any card can be used and it is visual, but the card is not completely restored, although the restoration process occurs in the specs hand and any card can be used.

Any1 thats interested pm me and ill tell you the issue, cant remeber it atm.

I really like Torn Too by Daniel Garcia. I think the signed card adds a little something extra.
