Maybe another batch of these should be made up, then the TM badge can be an add-on rather than a stand alone product ;)

I believe that Lebanon Circle did a similar thing with his fossilised fairies? Didn't he get lots of media coverage for what were claimed to be genuine fossils of winged creatures?

I think that these days they call it "guerilla marketing". Others will see it as life imitating art imitating life...or something. Personally I see it as a good old fashioned long con, executed purely to see how many people will actually fall for it! :D

Was using the search function and came across this. I have to say the story is superb. As a history graduate I've got to love this sort of thing. Came up under a number of google searches so its still gaining more truth.
