Good topic!

I work as the IT Manager of a small firm. This seems to involve all sorts of things from teaching Office Apps, running and maintaining servers, to helping out with deliveries, fixing franking machines. All varied stuff!

Am also studying for my Microsoft certifications.

(Yes, I know... very dull!) :)

BSc in biology, make money proofreading puzzle magazines. Spend WAY too much time playing computer games (usually when I should be proofreading puzzle magazines).

Unemployed bum.

Although unemployement has afforded me lots of oppurtunities for being very creative.
So in my unemployment I am a creator and occasionally do some private readings for people as well.

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism

I am a fed-up schoolboy away to sit exams in English, Physics, Business Management, History and Maths.

The next year I will study English, Music and Business Management.

i am also attempting to get a job at tesco, and maybe get some paid magic gigs.

Oh the joy...

MD - Fraid not. Ways to approach it are through your MP - find out what if anything they, or others, have said on this, or any other issue here:

http://www.theyworkforyou.com/

or the Department with responsibility for allowances and the like is the Department for Work and Pensions - which can be found here:

http://www.dwp.gov.uk/

there is undoubtedly a "Contact Us" section here. There is also information on Carers through the Directgov website which is the portal for central government and related issues - you can find it here:

http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/index.htm

I can offer no guarantees that any of these approaches will work - your best bet is proably getting an MP on side, but a multi-track approach keeps your options open.

Sorry not to be of more help.

Richard
