Mine is me at my engagement party.

I look swish in a suit - what else can I say?

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism

It's me.

Ok, it isn't, it's a Banksy-esque graffito of Hugh Laurie in his acclaimed role as Dr. Gregory House off of "House", the television programme.

I like that programme, and I'm a medical student, and I quite often look dishevelled, so it seemed like a pretty good choice.

Plus, it's never lupus. (Although it was last week).

Mine represents my inability to put up an avatar even though others tried to help, just can't get it down to the right size.

he is a legend (my favourite book being the Witches of Chiswick) and he very kindly sent me an autograph when I wrote to him.

And Farlsborough, who doesn't love watching House?!

Replicant's foolproof guide to resizing pictures/photos (assumes Windows XP is being used - if not, then I'm sure a quick search will yield a suitable equivalent for your OS):

1. Go to Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP.

2. Towards the bottom of the right-hand Downloads column, you'll see a download link for an application called Image Resizer. Click on it and Save to a suitable location (probably your desktop) and install it.

3. You now have a fantastic little app that is so, so simple to use. Here's a rundown: once you've installed this little beauty, any time you right-click on an image file, e.g. JPEG, the resulting menu will give you the option to Resize Pictures. Click on the Advanced button and you can select a Custom size for your image - simply type in the number of pixels you want your image to be resized to, i.e. 80 x 80 for a TM avatar. It will then resize the image, keeping as closely as possible to your requirements while maintaining the correct ratio of the original image.

You should now have an image that fits the requirements for a TM avatar.

The great thing about the app is that it can obviously be used to resize any image you want, to whatever size you need. Just by right-clicking it. I use it all the time as it's so easy and convenient. I cannot recommend it enough and everyone should have it installed.

Nice one! My favourite was "Armageddon: The Musical". I tried to explain the idea of Elvis having the mind of Barry the Time Sprout lodged in his head, but people wouldn't listen!

and when you get onto Christeen having the raging hump over being written out of the bible, they tend to phase out completely.

Great books!

Mine is a wonderful magician called GOB from arrested development. On the note of Robert Rankin, I've read The Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of the Apocalypse, which seemed to be a one off book. Enjoyable and oh so random. Twas a good romp.

David P. Abbott, one of my favorite dead magicians.

I was thinking of changing it to Sweeney Todd or my hand with my oh-so-cool sixteenth birthday ring.

Currently Reading "House of Mystery" (Abbott, Teller), Tarbell, Everything I can on busking
