Without finding the actual book out that has my copy of Spider Man's origin in it, I believe that the words were actually "spoken" by the "narator" (ie they're in the boxes at the top or bottom of the frame). I think it goes something like "and so Peter Parker learns that with great power comes... etc."

And while I'm being all pedantic, the words were written by Stan Lee. I'm a golden and silver age nut. Forgive me.

Continuing yet again from the above "succeed" quotes:

"If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a damn fool about it."-W.C. Fields-

And, a few extras:

"Argue for your limitations, and sure enough they're yours." -Richard Bach-

"All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident." -Arthur Schopenhauer-

"No one will ever accuse a kid of being smart." -Bill Herzog Jr-

Oh yes! Dear old Reg. A man of natural appetites...

Here's one to live by: "I've always lived my life sideways, Mrs Swinbourne. It's the best way of avoiding what lies ahead." - Mr Pitt, 'The Beiderbecke Connection'

I could quote Beiderbecke forever. Perfect telly. Nothing happens.
