so you'd be peeing green and red and blue for months while you have it removed?
that would be quite scary looking down and seeing a bowl of multi coloured ink

I don't know, it just amuses me. =D
I'm sorry. I'm from the US. You're allowed to get one here if your 14 or up, and have a parent or guardian sign a form. ^_^

And Dat, I thought for at least a few months before I decided on the one I wanted. :D

Why do I feel that ink on a 14 year old would look completely out of place - considering most 14 year olds are yet to hit puberty....

When I worked at a tattooist, a lad of 16 came in with his mum for a tattoo. she signed the form and then dissapeared to go back to work (she was in a very smart suit as well). He prompty had both his arms completely covered in tattoos.

Bulldogs, union jack flags, naked women and skulls smoking weed spliffs were among the designs. I wonder if he'll still love them in a few years time........

I know so many people that have had tattoos and really hate them now. I'd always say to anyone thinking about getting one done to really sit down and think about it, leave it for year or two and if you till want it, then get it done.

I'm lucky that I still like mine, but then it's quite subtle and I can easily hide it when I want to.

Isn't there an apocryphal tale about the scotsman who wanted a tatoo of a big thistle done on his arm when he was in Thailand? Apparently the tattooist couldn't understand the word 'thistle'. The scotsman then gestured and tried to describe it at which point the tattooist started nodding and smiling...

Two hours later the scotsman left with a beautiful tatoo of a pineapple on his arm.....

and there was a guy who got dumbledore tattooed on his back and then JK Rowling said he was gay (dumbledore that is, not the guy who had him tattooed on his back)

and the guy who wanted something in chinese on his chest and then later when he went to thailand everyone asked him why he had "coke" on his chest

and probably the worst is a guy wanted his favourite football team's emblem on his back and the tattooist was a fan of the rival team and he tattooed male genitals on his back instead

I don't believe that one bit!

My sister owns a bridal shop in Merhyr, where theres a tattoo parlour above it. A few years ago in Beckhams hay day, a young lady went in to have a tattoo of beckhams name on her back, but the tattooist spelt it BECKAM instead!

Impossible is nothing, if you only believe!

A bit like the illiterate skinhead who self tattooed 'ANCHOVY' on his forehead because he couldn't spell 'ANARCHIST'!

I've got quiet a few tattoos which i've collected over the years, well since i was 23 so i've had all of 2 years collecting them. Currently I have a full sleeve on my left arm which is just black and grey designs which includes an image of the Devil holding a skull, various little tribal details inbetween images matching them all together, an eyeball with the eyelid nailed open on the inside crease of my arm... (let me tell you that hurt the most), a dragon leading above that and a demon below. Also an image of a half naked woman screaming linked in with an image of a lynx with it's mouth open and a set of demonic teeth linked between that.
Roughly that cost me around £700 all in all.

One day after a bit of a drinking session i was encouraged to get "your name..." tattooed on my ass cheek (like Steve-O) so i did.

Now at the moment i am in the middle of having a back piece done which covers all of my back and over my shoulders. It's an image of one of H.R. Gigers creation with my own ideas put into it aswell so it isn't an exact copy... currently thats cost just over £1000 and now with the credit crunch prices have slightly gone up and is looking like the rest of it will be another £1000. But to me it is worth every penny.
