Ceramic palm reading hands?

Postby themagicwand » Sep 4th, '08, 22:23

Ceramic palm reading hands - have you seen them? Sometimes used by psychics at psychic fairs or used in the windows of new age shops. I'm sure Craig Browning once had a photo of himself with one as an avatar. Sometimes they're seen with a ceramic head showing the bumps etc. The hand shows the major lines of the palm. It stands upright. Usually cream in colour.

Well, I'm looking for one. A search on eBay has yielded nothing, and Google just seems to want to find me mobile phones or something. Any ideas people? Have you seen one in a shop near you? Do you have one? Do you want to sell? Any info gratefully received.

Wonderful! Many thanks! I Googled "Ceramic palm reader hand" and found nothing! The devil, as they say, is in the detail. Many thanks again.

I happily own two, one in the style like the phrenology heads and another from a gift shop in wales that lies flat on the table. The flat one is highly detailed and holds a crystal ball nicely. It is designed by David Lawrence and distributed by Fiesta Collectables Ltd. the email is as follows

Success! Have ordered a hand and a head (well, in for a penny...).

I already have a small hand but as I'm booked in to work at several fairs over the coming months, I thought it was time to get a larger hand to attract the punters. That sentence sounds weird.

Thanks for the help.
