Studies in Russian hospitals have shown that people bleed more during the full moon, even when undergoing exactly the same surgical procedures. There seems to be more fluid and more pressure in the body. Increased pressure in the brain might well affect people who are sensitive.
In astrology there is a lesser-known concept called "void of course", which may be of interest.
We'll start with a few basics. The Moon travels against the background of the Zodiac very quickly. As it goes, it forms aspects (particular angles) with other planets. (Yes, the Moon isn't a planet, but it's called one in astrology; even the Sun is called one.) Eventually, as it makes its way through a sign, it won't make any more aspects until it moves into the next sign. This is called being "void of course", and only lasts a few minutes to a few hours.
It is believed that anything undertaken while the Moon is void of course will be fruitless, coming to nothing. On the other hand, a deliberately risky or controversial venture might do well to be begun during this time, because your detractors will come to nothing.
This site gives a good lunar calendar telling the phase and age of the Moon, and when it passes into each sign. Times when it becomes void of course are shown in red and marked VOC; the void-of-course period ends when the Moon enters the next sign, shown in green. It also explains about void-of-course and the traditional interpretation of each lunar day.
The next Manchester TM meet-up is on lunar day 28, which is described as a good day for meeting friends and getting to know influential people. All right!
