What is the best gimmick or trick where you can have a box or pouch sitting on the table and you vanish an object, it appears in the box?

Is there anything, I'm sure there is but I couldn't find anything, besides a Lippincott box?

Thanks!

Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

A folded card. I know there are other ways to do this but if it is possible I would like to let the spectator unlock it or open it up for a majority of the effect.

LIPPENCOT BOX... still one of the most practical "inexpensive" utility systems of this sort... there's another bit but not as "clean" -- a nest of little brass "snuff" boxes... but not as "impossible" in my mind.

There's the box by John Kennedy, but unless your pretty damn clever, you have take the card from the box. Although they could open it.

I'm surprised you're asking this. Lenoir - considering you're being tutored by one of the greatest card magicians in the world. Why not just ask him? He has a routine on YouTube with a tiny box underneath an upturned glass that blows my mind!

If you can wait Ian, I am seeing Michael sometime in the week, I expect Wednesday evening, I'll ask about it. If you can't wait, I'll drop him an email/text or just give you his email!

Although rather odd, I haven't seen him perform the effect myself, maybe Queen of Clubs could send us a link and you could see if that's what you intend to perform.

The lippencott I reviewed should be alright for your needs. If its a business card sized prediction then it'll need to be folded twice to fit. Its too small for anything much more than that size load.

Sure! Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GxhXzYQ9_vA

I love this a LOT! I'm still looking for a hinged wooden box like the one in this video myself. Non gimmicked as what I'd use it for wouldn't require any kind of jiggery-pokery, just delicious sleight of hand.

Excellent stuff. I will be 100% ask him about the box for both of you on Wednesday!

Look up Vox Box. I was actually looking at purchasing this. The blurb says you can vanish any item and have it appear in your card case.

It's just a normal small little wooden box with a little DIY

His sleight of hand is what makes the trick
