I would agree with #1 primarily and almost down to the T. I was recently doing magic the other day, just some card tricks and a bill switch. This was because my teacher didn't show up for class so we were killing time. A friend of mine who was watching mentioned having wasted his last two bus tickets to get here for nothing. Now I had recently purchased two that I didn't end up using, so I quickly loaded them a la bill switch and produced them. Such a great situation because it got the whole "OMG he just said bus tickets and this guy pulled them out of thin air!"

Haha a once in a lifetime shot, but I'd argue a reputation maker in their eyes.
