Thanks, everyone! It was a lot of fun creating that, as well as reading everyone's entries.

In the spirit of things - and because I thought that competition was really fun, I would like to continue it. Therefore, I make this announcement.

In a couple weeks, I would like to create a design-style contest. I will confer with a few people and come up with a theme to work with. I will also come up with a suitable (I hope) prize.

I'll keep you posted! Thank you again for all the compliments. I'm glad everyone enjoyed it.

Well done Demitri, a well deserved winner.

Also thanks to Dat for starting the competition.

Thanks Darrel but it was Katie (Queen of Clubs) that deserves the credit as I think she hosted the first competition and I merely continued it as it was such a grilliant idea.

I'll wait for the next one and will give it a go. :-)

Demitri definitely deserved the prize as he did put in a lot of work.

I also really look forward to some more competitions. :D

Just a month and a half since this thread was posted and the next custom deck has been produced by theory 11. It's called Propaganda and is a WW1/2 style deck. So I think Demitri was actually quite close. The plague and WW1/2 gas masks are similar, aren't they?

Propaganda:

Information that is spread for the purpose of promoting some cause.

Communications to the public that are designed to influence opinion. The information may be true or false, but it is always carefully selected for its political effect.

I couldn't have come up with a better name for this kind of rubbish.

I've just looked at the web site and if you order a brick of 12 you get a free Apache helicopter and entry into a draw to win 6 months in Kuwait

Notice if you click "read the reviews", it links to the Bicycle Guardians reviews. Which is conveniently scrolled down so you can't see which deck it is. Hmmm...

You caught me off guard for a moment there and I wondered what World War One-Half was.

 I kind of like that deck to be honest. I don't think I'll buy one but... I like that.

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

I quite like it as well, wouldn't buy it though. It just seems a bit...strange to have gas masks on the back of a pack of cards, but then again surely angels on bikes are a bit weird? :?

Instead of producing a pool ball from behind the 8 of spades, or doing a switch for an omni deck you could simply show off the back design as you produce a hand grenade from underneath and slowly pull out the pin.

I thought that Tactical Field Bikes were bad enough but this.........

If i were Ben Elton - i'd suggest that those cards be marked via blood and oil. I'm afraid to say i rather like the fan-backed bikes in blue best of all. If only they did them in black and white i'd be a very happy man.
