People are people an audience is an audience!

indeed my friend you are correct, but one gets more money from these sorts of people, and once your in their circle, you then benefit from their celebrety ways !

Agreed,

Dont get me wrong it is nice work i perform at lots of celeb parties and most have been very good indeed but i still earn more on the corporate side of things.

But its nice to do celeb work, and chris is correct you do seem to get more work out of people that circle.

 Though i wish you luck; i do hope you spare a little of your time for the normal everyday peons you may encounter and perform for.

Did you know, that one of the best/top paid performers in this country you would probably not have heard of? And that man works very hard indeed - and his material has it's roots in Al Koran for a good percentage of that work. He works the corporate circuit.

Now, if you were to ask me "who is Al Koran?" I'm afraid i'd have to hunt you down and kill you. :D

If you wish to mingle with the celebs, get yourself down ChinaWhite's in London town and bring out a svengali deck and some dancing shoes.

Ok so after a severe lack of celebrity cancelations last night, the gig went awesomely (dont know if thats a word) Apart from Klem Curtis from the Foundations, who I have ahd the pleasure of working with before..the celeb market was pretty thin, however the turn out from events companies T.V channels and radio stations was like all my xmas's had come at once....I was totally inundated with Events people dishing me there card for further business...The tv crew there followed me for 20 mins!!!! which is frrrriiikkin ace and the Radio station photoed and interviewed me for their website, with a forwarding agreement to work at their Roadshows...The actaul night was ace performance wise, I was chuffed with myself because what had been a "close-up magic" gig, turned into an impromtu walk around mentalism gig...with me very DerrenBrowning it... the organisers had really gone to town...after all these guys did get the backing od Duncan Banatyne and James Caan on Dragons Den!!!

So all in all probably the best networking event Ive ever done...Will keep you posted on future leads from this, cos i have a good feeling this is leading to bigger and better things....

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
