Re the actor John Thompson, I just heard he's joining the cast of Coronation Street, same character as the one he did there on a couple of occasions over Christmas. He's playing the part of a children's entertainer so there's a good chance he'll be at Blackpool checking the children's magicians and all the kit on sale in the Dealer Room

!

(Dealer Room? More like an aircraft hangar with balcony and side extension!)
