Magical names for children

Postby Miles More Magic » Dec 18th, '08, 07:48

I do a drawer box routine for younger children. I get one of them to come up, I show it empty, close the drawer, then open it a fraction while putting it down. It doesn't notice, but means I can leave the rest of the routine for the children to perform the magic without me going near the box again.

I feel that as they are being the magician, it would be fun to dress them up and give them a magical type name.

I'm trying to find something that fits different letters of the alphabet, so I can "make them up" during the show .

The sort of things I am looking for are:

A: The Absolutely Amazing Annabel (or whatever the name is)

B: Baffling Boris

I: The Incredible Ingrid

P: Perpendicular Peter

As you can see, not all strictly magic, but as long as they SOUND vaguely magical, they don't even need to be exact words.

Any suggestions for any letters of the alphabet would be great. Also if there are a few words in front of the name, rather than just one, that would be even better.

Thanks.

C: Clive (or whatever the name is) the Conjourer
E: Extraordinary Edward
F: Fantasic Fred
K: (Same as C really - alliteration and all)
M: Mesmorizing Mike
O: Outstanding Owen (Not the best...but kinda souhnds magical?)
S: Simon the Sorcerer (spelling?)
W: William the Wizzard / Witch / Warlock [Harry Potter references for kids]

Hope these help - Im sure many people will suggest MUCH betetr names than mine, haahaaa

Val the valiant maybe or the vagabond gypsy magician. Otherwise maybe horror with the vamp. Or you could go with a Frank Zappa touch and have a valley girl.

Sorry, but I have to single out Dale for an extra big thank you, though all your ideas have given me something to work with.
