My girlfriend handed me my last present to unwrap. Nice little silver box with a purple ribbon... Opened it up and was mildly pleased to see one of those sonic toothbrush gizmos.... Girlfriend sighed and rolled her eyes and told me to take a closer look... Further inspection revealed it to be a home pregnancy kit thingy showing a positive result..... I'm going to be a daddy!!

Bestest present ever!!!! (with a dash of scariness thrown in..) :D :D :D

lol, I did actually put some toothpaste on it and went through the motions later that evening in what I thought was a hilarious jape..... My girlfriend says she might allow me to kiss her again round about March or April..... sigh... no sense of humour.. (must be the hormones kicking in!!) :?

Fantastic news Flashman, that's so exciting! And perfectly timed for your girlfriend to do that as a Christmas present - kudos to her for being imaginative!

To those calling people materialistic - it's true, I'm a bit spoilt, but I too think it's better to give than to receive... it's just this isn't a "what did you give?" thread - maybe we should start one? But I got a lot of joy out of giving (presents, Mark... ) this year.
