That part of your post means I will give you a proper answer.

First though, some questions for you to answer, so others may help.

Are you just interested in this effect, or has this effect given you an interest in learning magic?

Are you willing to put the time in learning how to PERFORM magic? Even if you just want to show magic to a few mates down the pub, the performance is important.

As you have asked about something that isn't about cards, I will suggest you buy Mark Wilsons Complete Course In Magic.
Should cost less than a tenner and you will learn effects and techniques in there which will give a good base to start.

You will learn more from this, than spending out on a one trick effect/DVD or book.

Whatever you decide, bear in mind that there is only one of YOU, with your unique personality. Don't think that you can learn an effect, then perform it with good reactions from the audience. You have to change the patter and performance to suit your style. That is one of the secrets of magic that we can give away, but also one that many don't bother learning, so they become people who do tricks and puzzles. If you are interested in learning magic, post something in the "Introductions" section, so people can see what stage you are at, so we can help better. then come back and answer here.

Meanwhile, please accept we have many posts such as yours, but who are just after secrets for free. I hope people read you are willing to spend money, before posting something. It depends on more information from you, on how much people can help, or whether you are someone looking for a one of trick or not.
