QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

Time for another riddle ...... a nice easy one (ish !!)

In the figure below, the radius of circle A is 2 units, the radius of circle B is 3 units.
Starting from the position shown in the figure, circle A rolls around circle B (circle B remains stationary).
At the end of how many revolutions of circle A, will the centre of circle A first reach its starting point?

One and a half? (I did put some effot in working it out but I suck at maths)

I am inclined to think it is 2.25 times on the basis of π4 in to π9 goes 2.25 times but I think I may be missing something...

Your last statement is correct - you are indeed missing something ..... 2.25 is incorrect :cry: .

2.25 is getting there - the maths is along the right lines, but it goes round exactly twice that.

For equal sized circles, the moving one goes round twice.
