Nope, I'm not that good at drawing. It's an American artist who's given me permission to use the sketch.

My thoughts exactly. I've actually being developing a very scruffy style to my (false) shuffling in general lately. It's remarkable how convinced most specs are if you do a quick overhand, scruffily chucking the cards rather than mechanically peeling off packets. There's no question in their mind the cards were just shuffled.
That's also the main reason I dislike the injog/shuffle off technique - it looks mechanical and most magicians do it in a way that looks like they're trying to applaud with a deck of cards still in their hands.
