The Game

Postby EckoZero » Feb 25th, '09, 01:05

The most pointless social virus ever.
But it's fun.

I don't know if anyone else plays but here it is:

From now on, you are always playing The Game.
Any time you think about The Game, you lose The Game.
Therefore you will only ever know how well you are doing once you have lost The Game.

And to make it more interesting, every time you lose The Game, you must say out loud "I just lost The Game" so everyone else who plays can start again too.

Mmm, pointless but fun.

Any fellow players out there?

Damnit I Lost!
Y'know a lot of people who already play this game are going to be very sore with you.

I'm going to be sore with myself tomorrow when I come in, log on to my computer and have to my girlfriend "I lost the game because I posted it on TM"

Damn you. I was doing so well, too. (Why is it everytime I lose the game it's because someone is introducing a friend to the game?)

Is this a version of Derren Brown's 'Hole Tempting' but for eyeless, beardy gingers? If so, count me in.

In a way, yes. It's rather great fun when you text people saying "I just lost the game" and you get replies back saying "Damn you!" ;)

I never saw the point in this game. My little sister used to play it with her friends so I would constantly remind her of the game just to * her off

Just for the record, it's not something Derren Brown created; and there are many of us that believe it is only a real tempt if played below the waist.

anyway.... Ecko.. DAMN YOU!

has anyone seen the Lost board game that just reads "LOST: The Game" on the front? Hilarious!

Sorry to go off track - just started that below-the-waist hole game thing that Queen of Clubs mentioned with a girl in work yesterday. Blooming infuriating. I think not to lose you have to hook her hole without looking directly at it ....aw never mind I'll get into trouble if I type any more

Still not thinking of "the game".....Bah

I lost the game.

I'd only been going for about 2 days though, due to the fact that everyone at my school plays it and someone always seems to remember at least once a week.

Damn it that's twice in two days, went for about 4 months till a friend at work lost!! I'm going to use this in a prediction at an upcoming gig, the landlord of pub plays as I introduced him to it. My prediction will read 'and Ben will swear in a few minutes as he has just lost' I did have him trained so that everytime I texted him he thought I'd be telling him I'd lost, so he'd lose before he even read mt text
