It is one of those things...I'm absolutely in love with it, and the fact that I came up with it independantly, but somewhere, deep within me, I reckon someone else has come up with it and probably published it.

Edit - Just realized - is this a public space?

I took down my explanation, just in case. It borrows from old methods, so I don't want to post it publicly.

If anyone's interested - I have a possible solution to this, that might be to someone's liking.

Sorry - nothing to see here, move along!

A deck is shuffled by several members of the audience, any number they want, spread face down on the table by a spectator, a different spec takes a card, takes a look and puts it in her pocket, envelop, or at least anything to hide the card from me so there is no form of marking, and after some hard thought, I name it.

Did I mention that I am facing the other way the whole time and don't touch the deck once?

Everything is examinable after as well!

Ah, that's easy. You just think very, very hard about it... right?

It's shuffled by many different specs, all of whom can look at the faces of the cards as they shuffle.

Not in the way you're thinking.

I have no idea what you are talking about. There is no one way deck.

Why do you want it to be so fair? You've got to remember that audiences don't think like magicians. We cheat, that's half of the beauty of magic, the elegance of the deception...

What about Out of this World, or a variation thereof? Isn't it even more magical if your spec separates him/herself all the reds from the black?

I think there are some impromptu methods to do that. Michael Ammar has a method in one of his DVDs which can be used with a borrowed deck.

Do a search on OOTW on this forum you'll find loads of ideas.
