You can buy lion dung pellets under the name of Silent Roar. NO animal will want to set foot in the garden as long as it's marked as lion territory. It keeps away cats, dogs, deer, rabbits, pretty much any mammal.

Legally it's sold as "organic fertiliser" because of EU restrictions on the labelling of repellent chemicals. (It's impossible to specify the precise chemical composition of poo.)

We're planning to put copper strips on our thresholds to keep the slugs outdoors. I'm told they don't like going across copper because it actually sets up an electric current in their bodies and gives them a mild shock.

What did the slug say to the snail?

My cat has taken out 3 dogs so far (2 terriers and a golden retriever) that have dared to stray into his territory, dogs don't deter cats, they are but playthings to the feline world. The only way to stop cats messing in your garden is to get a cat. This solution has the added bonus that your cat will poo elsewhere too. :lol: Do you like your neighbors?
