That was announced months ago with the old fart patting a fine looking young lad on the butt... I mean, shoulder, for being such a convincing psychic performer.
As to the thoughts that I hadn't read this thread... admittedly I skimmed and most everything I saw (and still see) comes off as being the more typical negative... boring being the operative observation (and the gods know I've sat and suffered through my share of these horrid "demonstrations" organized by Psychics... it's enough to make you want to slash your wrist).
Well, yes I do have an instant reaction when I see the words "Randi" and "Testing" in any sentence; the testing is all too questionable (at best) and the ethics/morals of the heralded tester are as well (i.e. Randi... not Banachek... I have nothing but respect for Steve).
In re-reading things I don't believe I came down as hard on the issue as I normally do, I just challenged people to take a more honest approach to the act of "investigation". Far too many in this world simply regurgitate what the preachers tell them to think and believe just as the average go'n to meet'n Christian will do when expressing their bigotry... funny how either actions gets my dander up... but they are both the same action, just a different flavoring, and hypocrisy is hypocrisy no matter how you want to look at it or the form it reveals itself in.
