Derren Brown Tour 2010 - Updated

Postby jimmyshoes » Jul 30th, '09, 09:24

For anyone on a downer now that Enigma has finished its current run, I discovered the best way of getting over post-tour depression is to book tickets for the next tour!

Here's what I've found on sale so far:-

Crawley: The Hawth 23rd - 27th February 2010 TICKETS
Liverpool: Empire Theatre 2nd - 3rd March 2010 TICKETS
Bristol: Hippodrome 4th - 6th March 2010 TICKETS
Southampton: The Mayflower 15th - 17th March 2010 TICKETS
Ipswich: Regent 25th - 27th March 2010 TICKETS
Edinburgh: Playhouse Theatre 1st - 2nd April 2010 TICKETS
Sunderland: Empire 5th - 7th April 2010 TICKETS
Milton Keynes: MK Theatre 8th - 10th April TICKETS
Belfast: Waterfront Hall 12th - 14th April 2010 TICKETS
Woking: New Victoria Theatre 22nd - 24th April TICKETS
Birmingham: Alexandra Theatre 27th April - 1st May 2010 TICKETS

Anybody found any more?

He made noises about it being a continuation of the Enigma tour.

Any info or is it a completely new show?

He usually tours the same show for two years so I'd guess it's Enigma again next year.

The last few shows that he's done ('Evening Of Wonders', 'Something Wicked' etc) have had two separate regional tours followed by a West End run. With 'Enigma', there was only one regional tour before he appeared in the big smoke so it would make sense that he'd be taking the show to provincial theatres again. I'm hoping that's the case anyway so that I can see it in Leicester. That copy of 'Absolute Magic' I have will not sign itself!

Also, the timing fits perfectly. The West End 'Enigma' run had great reviews and publicity. Derren will be back on TV with his new shows starting in September. His autobiography will be out mid to late November ready for the Christmas rush so his name will be in peoples minds by the time early 2010 comes around so what better time to take the show out again across the country?

I've just booked front row seats for the 2010 tour.

Yep, this will be Enigma again. From experience of the previous tours, the show does tend to evolve and get more polished as it goes on so def worth a second viewing.
The first Enigma show in Chatham this year had a whole extra routine which ended up being dropped which was kind of a shame but I can understand why they decided to lose it.

Congrats to those lucky people snapping up the front row :)

I guess Crawley will be the preview shows.

Cheers

Just PM'd you

Was going to add the links in my original posts but as I'm a newbie I'm not sure what the rules are on posting external links on this board. Maybe one of the mods could clarify?

Cheers!

Depends what the links lead to! The ones we prefer to not see include links to exposure sites, sites offering free magic or even those offering to sell - we have advertisers who support TM and they get the top table when it comes to advertising! Obviously anything illegal or distasteful is taboo as well. The Forum of Visual Curiosities hosts many links so check those out and see if your links fit in with the sort of things in there.

Hi,

The links would be to the official ticket sites for the listed venues. Wasn't sure if that constituted trying to sell/promote things on the forum. I don't work for Derren... honest! :)

Ah - that would be more than OK, it's classed as very useful information and, as a direct result, you will win the Lottery and achieve fame and fortune before the weekend.... er, I may have exaggerated a little there.... might be next weekend...

In that case, consider the links added :)

Good news about the lottery... time to quit the day job and book my holiday in Lagos. Happy days!
