Although there are several species of water life (and land life) awaiting discovery, most of these tend to be insects and small life forms. There are very few big creatures undiscovered. And there are no lake monsters. But there is no tourism spin-off in the truth.

One can not base an entire science on one success of rumors turning out to be true.

However there are likely life in the Loc that no one knows about I doubt its a large prehistoric dinosaur.
