My stuff turned up this morning - less than 24 hours for delivery. Top service Alakazam!

To be fair, it should be top service to Royal Mail for the prompt delivery. Top service to Alakazam for the prompt dispatch, though. They are very good with dispatching orders very quickly.

That's true. Royal Mail are generally brilliant. I hate the other delivery companies. You end up having to drive 30 miles to some depot to pick stuff up. Rubbish service!

RM are rubbish round my way. People are complaining about the strike but it's like that on a normal day where I live. But that's a whole new thread.

Just want to add to those saying how awesome alakazam are.

I had some problems with the card, but I was able to speak to someone via their instant messaging service and got it sorted immediately. And that was 7pm-ish.

Pretty impressed.

I was just about to place an order for 75 quid worth of stuff after discount, then get got stung with a 15 pounds charge for delivery to Czech Republic. For DVDs. In the EU. I checked the delivery cost to my old UK address - GBP 2.50........

It's not the first time I notice this with e-shops, and I find it a "little" bit frustrating, considering that when you see the actual cost on the enveloppe, it's usually no more than a pound or two extra :x

I wrote to them, maybe it's a bug in their system, let's see :D
