ive studied but cant work out one part. the intial move to get the chosen card in a DL. easy to see where it is after it is "put in the middle", and before that, but its simply the part between picking up the card from the table and showing it on the deck, that somehow has it in. is he dropping it from the bottom? i see some hesitation when cutting...


any ideas?

Any basic card magic book will hold the explanation of what you are asking.

you know, this video came from a god awful exposure site.
you can buy it from them.

What i would sugest though, is to look at the effect, and deconstruct it for yourself. Work out how you would do it, not how they do it.
You will I GUARENTEE come up with a way of doing this, that suits you better.
And you will learn how to create your own effects.

Just get yourself a couple of basic books, Mark Wilson's Complete Course is a great place to start. You'll find them fdar more useful than those horrible videos.
