Plastic eggs

Postby greedoniz » Oct 30th, '09, 09:30

Howdy

I have been scouring the internet for some plastic splittable eggs so I can perform magic ranch:

However I cannot find anywhere that sells them. I bought some from an Amercian site called something like Petilious.com and when they arrived they were tiny. Other than that I can only find brightly coloured ones.

It's a long shot but does anyone know where I can get hold of a few?

I'm afraid those ones dont split. I've already spoken to them

I'm still on the look out if anyone has any ideas.

White plastic egg that splits (much like a kinder egg but actually looks like an egg)

I went on a similar search a year ago. Came back with nothing. Please do tell if you find one.

Im reasonably sure that your search will prove fruitfull if you look for Stodare eggs.

like this...

then, im sure that there are suppliers of easter novelties out there.

there is also an egg here...

I did find a plastic moudling factory that sells them but currently they need glueing but they were willing to make some up that connected.....however when they realsied I would only buy a maximum of 12 they never got back to me.

Now if I can get everyone on tm to buy a dozen then I reckon I could get a good deal

edit: I'm afraid the Stodare eggs have a hole in them which isnt ideal.

My other option is to buy some of the more colourful splittable eggs and spray paint then and hop the paint doesnt crack when I try to open the eggs repeatedly

this is very frustrating

Use a chocolate Kinder egg.

Card inside the plastic widget inside the egg.

Spec gets to eat the egg.

You get the little toy.

Everyone's a winner.

needs to at least resemble an egg.

Agecroft found a place that sells the splittable eggs in bright colour but one of the colours was yellow which I think is a close as I'm going to get so have ordered a pack of 24 assorted.

This will give me, hopefully, 8 yellows. So if anyone needs some red or blue splittable eggs you know who to call

you shove your thumb over the hole.

or cover it over with a small round white sticker. It wont be seen.

Good luck Greedo, I spent quite a while and too much money on real eggs, needles and various types of hardening glue before my quest for the perfect egg for a trick fizzled out in frustration :(

you know, it really doesn't have to be an egg.

Any container that just turns up on the table will do.Just change the gag line " did you lay the egg?" and you have a routine that is yours.

Actually the Lucky eggs on your last URL seem to fit the bill perfectly. I am in the process of checking these out now. Edit: Lucky eggs are too small by the sounds

I have checked with cards4magic and none of the eggs they sell split apart from the giant one[
