hi guys wonder if you can help me out or give me another alternative

i got wayne dobson mini smash and stab and cant find a place to get some small 1 oz souffle cups for it
phoned a few catererrs and they dont have them does anyone know anywhere in manchester that has them or any other alternative to use

Hi did you try Google?

Your problem may be locating 1 Oz in the UK due to the EU rules regarding the use of metric measurements but the American market seems awash with them. The link above if $55 for 5000 1oz disposable paper cups.

Click on http://www.talkmagic.co.uk/ftopic18015.php and select page 5 onwards - there are one or two places suggested there to get small styrofoam cups. Basically it's coffee supply houses and wholesalers such as Bookers who might be willing to sell some to Jo Public if you ask nicely!

I don't know what size 1oz is. I picked up some smallish cups from wilkos the other day for less then £1

Simple solution I would use is muffin cases, small, cheap and easy, plus would not look so out of place next to small cups which are not seen much in the UK.

A UK fluid oz is 28ml (a US one is 29). To put that into context, a bike deck case measures 90x65x15mm, which is 87ml. So the volume we're talking about is only the end third of a bike deck case.
