Bit of help if poss?

Hi guys,
wondering if anyone can give me a bit of help with the one handed T Palm,
and what do you use as the most convincing control to get the card to top of deck?
been doing magic for a few years but stopped for a few years too...and just picking things back up.
i have bought a few dvd's for some nice new effects,
I really like Bill Goodwins effects. off Balance Transposition is really good. my repertoire used to be very david blaine influenced.... i also like Jay sankey although he can be a touch annoying.
I have jumped in coin magic too now Jay's Muscle pass is the move at the moment.

I guess i could buy a Dvd to find the One HTP but seems pointless.

Hi Simon. I learned the OHTP from 'Expert Card Technique'. I dont have the book handy but from what i recall its not actually in the Palm section, but is in the Replacement part in reverse. This book is invaluable for anyone who is doing card work. As with alot of sleights, there is a knack to this, so just keep at it. Before long you will find you can do it quite easily. What source are you learning it from ?
The best method for getting the card to the top will differ from routine to routine so it depends on the context :) jim

I presuming that you have practiced before palming using your other hand to steady the deck underneath.

for the one-hand, it's just that but you have to hold the deck too (for me it's in my right hand).

keep practicing.

to control cards, i use the pass a lot - but that's a lot of practice too.

learn the Kelly.b.placement , ( ovette master move), because the One handed t.p, has much in common with it. :)

you're like Yoda.you dont say much, but what you do say is worth listening to....

cheers guys,
i did have the Expert Card Technique book many year ago, along with some vids on Daryll bobos coin magic etc but all gone missing....
Still have Guy Hollingworths drawing room deceptions which i bought just for his TR effect. Love that! once upon a time i could do this quite well.

im just using google at moment, to learn the OHTP but Sankeys extremely ambitious goes over it a touch.

I use the Classic pass to get the card to top, i have used the convincing control or just cull to bottom then palm off get them to shuffle then add to top of deck.
All though the classic is pretty good i find it sometimes not natural enough.

I have practised using two hands yes mate, lots easier i guess its just my thumb getting in the way kinda need to move it for full palm.

daleshrimpton- cheers i will look into this.
