Micro-mini-nano Review....Buttertub Prediction

Postby Klangster1971 » Feb 5th, '10, 12:31

Sorry to post this here but I thought it might spark some discussion.

On a few previous threads the idea of a clean headline prediction has come up a few times and the name E.Robert Carlyle has come up with his Buttertub Prediction.

Well, I've just received my Carlyle Up Close & Personal DVD and headed straight for the 'Buttertub' chapter....

WOW! That has completely changed my approach to any and all predictions I'm ever likely to perform in the future. Am still grinning inanely at the cleanliness and simplicity of it. It has to be the most perfect multiple (!!!!) prediction routine I've ever seen.

Iain - you were absolutely right. This effect alone is worth the price of the DVD... and I've not even looked at any other effects yet.

I will, of course, write a review in the fullness of time but, I just had to comment on this wonderful effect!!

Sean where did you get the DVD from as I've got his Touch of Carlyle DVD.

I've used the prediction and it just killed, stuned silence.

I ordered direct from his website - http://carlyletouch.com/PageThree.html - it's about halfway down the page.

I'm just sitting here open-mouthed at the possibilities......

I see I've got the first one but bought the tub prediction on it's own.

I was only on his site last night but was looking at something else

What's the first one like? From what he says in Vol2 it's more 'stage' based... which suits me down to the ground!

Very good plus you get the Ebook which I've not even got round to looking at. I'll have a look later and get back to you with a review as I've not watched it in ages.

I was just looking at buying this and it states that it has "handling" only of the buttertub prediction, I assume this means it does not have the required props rather than anything being missing from the method etc.?

Hard to give a useful answer without tipping. Just buy it, you won't be disappointed :)

I've had both these dvds for over a year and a half now and still haven't watched them. I think I may just when I have some time.

You were right Ted. I was not even slightly disappointed. Ironically the Butter Tub Prediction although absolutely brilliant was probably not the effect I got the most out of. The other effects are exceptional too.

Yet to look at the text files on the disc too!

I'm glad :D

You can see now why I could not give a direct answer I guess!
