unusual svegali tricks

Postby magiccmb » Feb 21st, '10, 23:09

does anyone have any tricks using svengali decks which wouldnt be considered to be using a svengali deck by the spectator who is aware of the deck or even other magicians if performed too. no methods just what happens in the trick i can work it out.

Instead of worrying about things to do with the deck, why not apply the svengali principle to other things? You can get some incredible forces of place names, numbers etc with a few index cards in a svengali set up

Wonderful idea. I never thought about it that way.

Chapter four of my most wondrous book "The Long and the Short of it" describes quite a few tricks with the svengali deck that you can use. The entire book is all about the svengali deck but that particular chapter is the one that has all the tricks where you don't show the deck to be all key cards and make them change back again. Go to www.marklewisentertainment.com and then to the "For Magicians Only" section.

I must learn how to put a signature on my posts like all the other clever people here do.

Celebrity deck is a good example of what you are talking about.

You can do a pretty strong Any Card at Any Number with both a sven and a reverse sven.

i have this and although I don't use cards, this really is a nifty little book that shows you how to riffle shuffle, fan, etc etc Sven decks. Which I can still do now lol..

Worth getting in my opinion.

Perform the svengali deck as laid out in the instructions. Just perform it really well, perhaps with some original patter. And be really entertaining and you will be amazed how everything else just falls into place.
