People with chronic conditions are often put on a prescription and left on it without review. As new problems develop, more medicines are prescribed, and the prescription list just piles up over the years.

You can get a situation where drugs are prescribed purely to counteract side effects and interactions of other prescriptions, which themselves are no longer needed. It's surprisingly common, although usually with patients considerably older than Eshly.

Which is why I suggested Eshly arrange a doctor's appointment with the sole purpose of going through the list and making sure all the meds are still necessary. Maybe they are, in which case that's fine, but it's worth asking.

I'm sure he would appreciate the support from a friendly crowd, especially those who are aware of his medical conditions.

Who'd want a bunch of magicians watching their show? If you're bad, they'll be rude about you, and if you're good they'd nick your act. You can't win.
