what is interesting, (at least to me) is that for the longest time this move was actually a sleight. A way to move the coin from one hand to the other without anyone knowing it would happen behind the magicians back. Then some brilliant magician figured out that it make a beautiful flourish.

You should try it with a 5p, I can get it to jump about 6 inches! :shock: I normally use a £2 and can get about 2ft and a bit higher with a half doller.
