I agree. In short it's a load of B.S, and we all know that. Personally I think if these Europeans are deluded enough to spend thousands of Euros on something as spurious as that....then sod them, let them waste their money.

I found watching the poor lad in the wheel chair being told he will walk again very uncomfartable viewing though. That glimmer of hope in his eyes as he smiled away almost brought a tear to my own eyes.

When Derren described the bloke in charge of this Bronnokov thing as being 'Rasputin-esque" - I think that's probably the best course of action to take with someone like that......In that case then, maybe the cult leader should be poisoned, shot, stabbed, beaten and then drowned.

However, suffering a similar fate to Rasputins end is probably too painless for a charlaton like the Bronnokov guy. Especially when he had the audacity to have a go at the English for being skeptical because......wait for it.....we're all scientifically inferior.........errr yeah, this is coming from a guy with no medical qualifications telling a kid with cerebral palsy that he will walk again using his Bronokov technique.

F**king deplorable!!!!

And the scary part was that they intend to open an 'Institute' in the UK. For once I'd be happy to see our gutter press have full rein to savage them......

The first sentence: "The notion that our bodies have a natural energy field around them may sound like New Age hocus pocus." That's because it is New Age hocus pocus.

It's the idea that causation always runs both ways that seems to crop up again and again. Bioresonance therapy "works" by recreating these energy fields, because its creator believes that if you do that then you create the effects of whatever was giving off the energy field. If you generate the energy field of aspirin, then apply that to your own energy field when you have a headache, your headache will go. This is almost akin to saying that if you recorded precisely the ripples cast by a pebble thrown into a pond, and were able to simulate those same ripples, a pebble would come into being. Some pull the same trick with perception - we all perceive things in a unique way, therefore reality is only a consensus between perceived realities, therefore if we, as a group, are able to corrupt our perceptions so that we believe that all glass is ice, then ice it will become. At no point do they explain how perception suddenly starts running backwards and effecting the world as it really is. Anyone who thinks this way has never walked into a patio door they could have sworn was open.

I managed to catch up with the Sky+ and watch this last night.

Reading the posts there is a resemblance to Dianetics (there'sa word I haven't heard in years) and I think that this is little more that a get rich quick scheme that prays on the vulnerable.

If you are unfortunate enough to be blind then I can only imagine that you would go to exceptional lengths for the chance to have sight. My own view having watched the programme is that the family exploit this and have no doubt made tens of thousands of pounds already from this scam.

It was interesting to hear him say that he had already learned numerous techniques before he was actually born and is now on level 6 out of an estimated 18 levels, and that level 6 means that he can self levitate.

You'd have thought that even the blind would have seen him coming!

Lordy! http://www.bronnikovmethod.com/index.php

One of the random quotes was something Bronnikov said about non-human "consciousness parasites". Miscavige should sue!

Are these shows finished? Unless I've missed something there's only been two so far. I was expecting another tonight, but it appears there isn't one on. Maybe something to do with the Million Dollar Drop live thing?

He's back next week, trailing a bloke who says he can record messages from ghosts.

There's an exclusive clip of next week's show here: http://derrenbrown.co.uk/blog/2010/05/d ... 31st-10pm/

It looks suitably hatstand in a disturbing way.
