To put the review in context. I have no doubt it's an effect everyone is impressed with but I think the fact it was a review copy should be made clear. Whether or not after paying £40 for it would've given the same review is up for people to decide, surely.

Two questions please

1. How do you know if you are one of the lucky 100?
2. Can this be "trimmed down" to fit in a wallet?

Thanks

Hi,

Two good questions!

Once 100 sets of instructions are sold PayPal will automatically show that we're out of stock. You won't be able to place an order, basically, and your money stays in your account.

Yes, and I'll take this opportunity to answer the most commonly-asked question I'm receiving via email and PM at the moment: you can use any photo image and print it any size, although going over A4 is probably compromising on the portability a little :)

This means that those of you who are more into the bizarre/story-telling approach can use old Victorian images rather than the modern shots illustrated on my site.

While I am happy to make custom images, anyone with a decent colour photo printer will be able to make their own. Whether or not they want to go to the trouble is a personal choice.

Cheers,
T.

The Third Man on its way

Postby Ted » May 4th, '10, 16:14

Just a quick update for all those who were wise and kind enough to pre-order The Third Man.

I've just received an email to inform me that the instruction books have been printed and are on their way to me right now.

As soon as they turn up we'll bundle them up with the other goodies and stick them in the first class post to you - on the same day.

Best wishes,
T.

Granted :)

As luck would have it the booklets turned up late yesterday and the kits are now in the first class post to those who pre-ordered them. Those same people should also have an email from me, which was sent out just one minute ago.

Cheers,
T.

Huzzah!

Your reality, sir, is lies and balderdash, and I'm delighted to say that I have no grasp of it whatsoever.

Third Man arrived safe and sound this morning thank you. Swift read through only so far but ir's crafty, very crafty indeed  and I can see why it packs such a big impact. The routine included is excellent but there's plenty of scope to personalise it - as everyone ought to! Thanks Simon, another classic of mentalism has been born......

Thanks to everyone who ordered The Third Man. We are nearly sold out now. And, true to my initial promise, once the 100th copy is sold that's it for a full year (unless you are an existing customer and need replacement or custom photos).

I mention this *not* to stimulate a last minute feeding frenzy of panic-buying but to let you guys know that if you order The Third Man in the next few days there will be a short delay before your order is shipped. Details are on the site but essentially we won't be sending any more out until towards the end of next week.

Why? Because there's been a rush of orders over the last two days and, much to our surprise, we've run out of stock. More is on its way (due early next week) but I just thought it was fair to let you know what to expect in advance. So by all means place an order, but please be prepared to wait a few days.

Cheers,
T.

Phew!
I got a confirmation that it's on it's way by mail. Now I'm waiting for it to be delivered, like a little kid waiting for Christmas :P Heard so many good things about The Third Man. Can't wait ...

Just a quick update about shipping dates. We've managed to get hold of the necessary supplies much earlier than anticipated so please ignore the earlier message that warned of a slight delay. We are now processing and sending orders as usual.

We've sold 70 out of the 100. Feel free to panic-buy now
