When Kreskin performs his Q&A he uses essentially the same method as Richard does. He hands out cards and pencils and collects them in envelopes himself. He has used that very same method for well over 45 years and he kills with it at every performance.

have you ever thought about what its like for others? really?

imagine if one of your friends always asked you for help, and no matter how much time and effort you spent on giving them that help - ultimately...they said "no, not good enough for me..."

what would you do?

I find it silly that you are showing a magic DVD to non magician friends and then going "How was it done?" to them. What the hell do you expect them to do? sit there completely baffled and go "My god man.. That was just.. I don't know.. I just.. I just don't know..."

You keep asking for bloody miracles and you have to realize that you are not going to get them. Also Derren Brown has consultants who take old effects and essentially had a few minor variations to them.

If you also don't think Richard Osterlind's is good enough, then go talk to the tons of other mentalists out there who have actually made their career by doing his Q&A. Hell. go talk to the tons of other people who have made careers by simply doing the exact same methods taught in 13 steps.
