She's a class act, isn't she? These clips are funny for the very same reason that she's become so successful - she doesn't fish. She just makes up her mind as to what's happened and sticks to her story regardless of the actual facts.

If the facts don't tally with her story, then the facts are obviously wrong.

That kind of attitude can be very persuasive when dealing with emotionally fragile people. Unless, of course, you're telling them thast their loved ones drowned in a burning building.

I'm normally quite tolerant of mediums, but have nothing but icky feelings regading Ms Brown.

I only needed to see here name... Sylvia is the most rude B**ch out there as far as I'm concerned, and horrid with her "Readings"... if she has a miss she blames the patron and tells them "I'm the psychic and I know" or some such, insulting the patron's integrity. The woman is a prime demonstration of what NOT to do when doing Readings.

BTW... she's not too well respected within the Psychic/New Age community either. She's a decent writer that's managed to create a following because of her talk show dates and early year celebrity endorsements... which she don't have as much of these days.

If you want to see how to be a solid Reader, study John Edward. He's the only one of the bigger named psychics I've seen in the past decade, that's worth the time.

Worth who's time? He's as bad as Sylvia, surely?

You heard the lady Pete, it was a fire hose.

She's got to have balls of brass to stick to these stories.

What surprises me is the fact that Montel and his producers didn't interrogate their selected audience members in advance and feed the info to Sylvia ahead of time.

Not that I'm suggesting that's common practice on TV medium shows...

I cannot believe how any human being can be so stupid as to just blurt out random rubbish like that. You can see it in the parents faces as soon as she said "she was shot" just the sheer surprise. Then to top that off with an "I don't care, but it looks like something hit her in the chest."

Such utter utter tripe. I'm not even going to put down in writing what I believe she deserves to have done to her, just a vile woman.

John Edwards does kind of suck at it too. Most of his older episodes were just dubbed in and edited to make it look like he got everything right. Funny thing is that there was a Interview with him and he did a reading for like 5 people, and ended up getting everything wrong.. Well maybe he got ONE thing right.. The first letter of the Producers wife's name..

Hehe. I was kind of hinting at his ethics rather than effectiveness though :)

Was it ... J? Or maybe M, those two letters can look alike when they come to me psychically.

Far from it, actually.

John is one of the best of the working Psychics to learn from when it comes to the TV types... compared to Sylvia, VanPraagh, etc

Sylvia Browne has a voice like she's been smoking 40 a day for many many years and a bad hairstyle to boot
