I'm a tad miffed at this, truth be told. I really expected Hero to have been some kind of precursor to the next show (I think I mentioned this some posts back).

Thinking about it, there's been no trailers, no blog posts... just silence. If Hero really was a standalone piece then.... oh dear

 Maybe the point of 'The Events' was to stop us from getting over-excited at possible sequels?

In all seriousness, I am very sure that it was confirmed somewhere that there would be a part 2. Mind you, Hero wasn't advertised that much to be fair, I only caught it through YouTube. Would love to see a Part 2, would get me just in the mood to see ENIGMA after I missed out on tickets.

I very seriously now consider him to be two different performers.... TV Derren (boo) and Stage Derren (yay).

Make sure you get Svengali tickets.... Enigma on TV will put you in the mood for that and by then it might be too late!

He's openly admitted he doesn't like TV work that much and prefers stage, and to be honest I don't blame him. Whatever you create is destroyed by curious googlers within 10 minutes, and theres very little 'Magic' left in the world anymore anyway. Is this his way of phasing out? Surely it would be better to go out with a bang?

Maybe the next victim found out he was part of Derrens show during the secret filming and ran away and ruined the filming for the 10/10/10 special. Which in itself would be good T.V

Well, this is the quote I read on Derren's blog site - from a contributor.... apparently a quote from the Radio Times websoite on the day of the orginal show:

"Radiotimes website: We confess: RT’s powers of persuasion weren’t enough to coax even a dribble of information from Channel 4 on the illusionist’s latest two-stunt special (one tonight and one in just over a month’s time"

So, it looks like there was a plan for another show.... and maybe still is?

I know the difference between tempting and choosing my fate

I made the 30 days to be this Friday ...

Maybe he needs a little edit time once that finishes ...

Shame though I was hoping it would be live x

Intriguing, probably absolutely nothing to do with DB, but the mind wanders. Interesting that it was the same sort font as well.

Now I am really seeing things in shadows

Well spotted, it seems to be the same font. It's a very nice font too. Bonus points or beer to anyone who can tell me what it is and where I can find it :p

And I don't care if it has nothing to do with derren brown. I want to watch it
