Dominion-like forks and spoons in europe?

Postby TheMentalist » Sep 29th, '10, 15:49

hi there,

so i've been looking for some bendable silverware here in the netherlands, but wow, the stuff here is strong.
i was going to order some dominion forks and spoons over the internet, but they are not avalible for europe.

does anyone know what brand i have to buy silverware from?
i did looked for it, and the one that looked like it might be like dominion is Cutlery from the brand "Kelso" http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002KME7RI/ref=ord_cart_shr?ie=UTF8&m=A19UIDKN48TX5E & http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kelso-Table-Cutlery-Dining-Canteen/dp/B002KMCAG8/ref=pd_bxgy_kh_img_b
i dont know if there easy to bend though.

thanks in advanced

A while ago, David Penn imported a load of 'good' forks. They were on sale through World Magic Shop too. Drop them an email and ask if they have any stock left. They were pretty much ideal for metal bending effects.

thanks, but unfortuanitly, they don't have them anymore
is it safe to say the cheaper the spoons/forks are, the easier to bend they are?

Not necessarily, in my experience. I've bought some really cheap forks that were quite tough - and others that broke more easily than they bent. At one point, I thought that 18/0 stainless steel was the thing to go for, but I hit a difficult batch of them too.

So I'm still looking for any clues as to what to look for when choosing forks.
