You are never to old to start anything, I was 49 [I am now 61] before I started with magic, just remember your own reaction to a good trick, the first time that you see it. Master 6 or 7 good effects and they will last you a life time. I am not saying not to learn new things, everything we learn should help us to become a better magician.

I first started when I was about 8 but didn't get going seriously until I was 19. I am now 24 and don't do magic any more but i still love magic.

I've had a few private messages telling me an ID is an ID, so I assume it's something that we can't talk about on the forum. Please forgive my newness/lack of knowledge.

I thought an ID might be short for an identity, as in a showmans identity. I am still not any clearer on what it is though. So I am just going to assume it is a trick or effect unless anyone can tell me otherwise.

I've just looked at my message. The language filter changes the full name to ID. I'll try again.

I have received a message that now makes sense, thank you! :D

I didn't realise there were filters to actually stop tricks being named. That's really clever!
