Purely as a design point of view, I'd remove the phone and email icons and right justify the phone number and address as far right as you can (taking Dave's advise into account). Maybe add something like "Magician" somewhere in there too, as was rightly pointed out they'll soon forget what it is you do

I do like the portrait though

Oh, and pick a font other than Arial

Thanks dave i understand now.

Well here's the another draft of the business card. Removed the small icons, changed the hat abit to blend in abit more. The color was lost abit it seems :/ the black doesn't seem too black. Meets the bleed also.

However wasn't too sure if i should keep the contact details aligned to the left still or have it centered.

Not quite certain if i should put macigian on the card, and what font to change the contact details though.

That's looking good. The hat still looks a little jagged around the brim but that's the only thing I can see.

As for the black, make sure your image is in CMYK colour mode and that all black is C=40, M=40, Y=40, K=100.

K=100 by itself is not enough to make a rich black and comes out dark grey when printed.

Centred looks good. As for font, run through all the fonts in your computer and see which one looks better :)

I mention the font cos even though Arial can be nice, it often looks too plain - this is one of the times where it looks plain :)

I'd say drop the hat, it's not working for me.

Personally I also liked the upper-case Y in the email, it just looked a little more elegant to my eyes.

I agree on losing the icons, but I'm not enamoured with the new centred look.

Dave's point about CMYK black is important, it's not just a finishing touch it's essential for a solid looking black.

Also is the image on DA the full resolution?

Lol... everyone's an art critic!

I'd try and get it done in a vector format if possible, this will take out
all the jaggy lines.
