Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

Trust me Rev, it can make for a good drive train but that wasn't my intent when I put that book together nor does it have anything to do with why I'm working on a handful of similar books addressing Mentalism, Bizarre Magick, etc. all of which will be FREE.

I am afraid I have no idea what Martin is going to call my DVD. It should be remembered that it has only just come off the press. I expect his first sales will be in Blackpool. At any rate you can always send him an e-mail. Don't expect a reply though until after the weekend.

I collected my copy today and apparently the lectures, even after editing, will run to 2 DVDs so the first one covers Chinese numerology and Palm Reading. This disc alone lasts for over 2 hours! The Tarot section will presumably fill the second DVD. Apart from the lectures there are PDFs of the notes handed out at each lecture. This disc

The first DVD has the rather snappy title of... (wait for it!) ..... Mark Lewis Cold Reading usiing Chinese Numerology & Palmistry. There are more notes on the back of the case but I'm not spending hours typing them here so you'll have to beg, buy or steal a copy to read them. I've only had time for a quick peep at the disc but I see that my left ear and the back of my head make several guest apearances....

Mandrake said he didn't have the energy to copy out what was on the back of the DVD. However, I might be able to help here. This is what I wrote up as a blurb for Martin to use. I don't actually know if he did use any of it or even part of it but here it is for what it is worth.
...........................................................................................................I imagine this DVD will be the most useful for those of you who want to do quick readings for entertainment purposes. The other DVD describes how to do tarot readings and are for more in-depth sessions where the client actually pays you a fee.

It covers Chinese Numerology which consists of one minute readings which can be done on the back of your business card or a scrap of paper. Very useful for walk around gigs. They will never throw your business card away. I can promise you that. It is a noughts and crosses system and terribly accurate.

For a longer reading taking around 5 to 10 minutes we cover genuine palmistry methods which use no trickery whatsover. The readings are EXTREMELY accurate and do not get into the client's worries and troubles.

Finally on this DVD we have a wonderful stage demonstration of Psychometry. This is worth the price of the DVD on it's own.

We sincerely believe this training to be the best course in the industry

Considerably more wordage and information than that but the above certainly forms the basis.

Ah yes. They must have added to it. What price is he selling the DVDs? And are they being sold separately or both together? Martin said he might do some kind of package including my memoirs but I don't know if he followed through with it. I will be quite interested to hear how his sales went anyway.
Come to think of it how much is he selling my book for?

I am looking forward to getting my copy of the DVD. The Chinese numerology is a great idea for walk-around. Highly recommended at that cheap price.
