Wood Ball Vase or Egg Vase

Postby V.E. Day » Feb 16th, '11, 21:50

I was looking for a half decent one made of proper wood and that is for a ball or egg that is between one and a half to one and three quarter inches diameter.

I saw some very expensive looking egg vases in my search, but I also noticed Uday manufacture a cheaper no frills one or did manufacture a ball vase that is made of wood and I think it takes a red ball that is one and a half inches in diameter. However everywhere I have looked is out of stock and the Uday Magic website isn't working anymore.

So I wondered if this product is no longer manufactured or whether magic dealers are merely awaiting fresh shipments?

Please does anyone know the best place to get my hands on one?

Thank you.

Depends on your budget and they're not easy to find these days.

I bought a good limited edition wooden ball vase from Merlins of Wakefield who are importers of items from The Collectors Workshop.

It still cost me £180 a few years back for the large vase, although they do a smaller version for around £120 to £140 but they go in and out of stock rather quickly. The quality is very good and you get a nice routine to start you off.

I'd love to be able to buy a Five of Hearts ball vase though

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

Four grand is a lot of money to pay to make an egg appear.
Tescos can deliver a box of six to your house for much cheaper.

Looks like the dealers were waiting for fresh stock. The Uday wooden ball vase is once again listed as available at World of Magic (and presumably other places too).
