That trick i did yesterday with the same objects... but i dont like the objects because they are strange why those?

so i wanted to make my own selection of 3 items but what 3 items???

i was thinking about a

OLD KEY that belonged to one of the locks of Houdini
Maybe a SPOON or something but URI still alive.... so... that would be strange

does anyone have ideas ? 3 great items easy to gather/make

and the prediction write it on old crumbbled paper? in a little bag or necklace what do you think

I quite like the spoon idea. You can say you once had the pleasure of meeting Uri on a (plane/mountain/beach/brothel) and you got talking and he gave you a spoon to practice on. Beat it up a bit and explain how you never did manage to bend it, but you've always kept it as a souvenir.

One of Houdini's keys is also a nice touch. Or maybe a lock of white hair from Siegfried and Roy's tiger? Not sure on that myself, but you might like it.

haha nice idea .. but i want 3 completely different objects so

if i put the key of the lock of houdini in it .... then i cant put the lock with the white tiger hair in it....

but the idea is FREAKING NICE!!:P

if you intend to use a box, as in the clip, think of it as a jewelry box.
you can then have a ring, a neclace, and a broach.

If you think of the box, as a toy box, you have a car, a soldier, and a ball

If you think of it as a cabinet of curiosities, you could have a sea shell, an old coin and a tooth.

Identify what the box is, as thats in a way the most Illogical item in use, and you have the items, and the routine.

where i store my most valuable magic items... from famous/dead magicians

ok how about:-
little silver spirit bell - houdini spiritualist bebunker.
small lock or key - david duval escapologist to the stars.
tarot card - doriss stokes.

maybey way off not knowing the workings.

so far i tried it:D 8 times and got GREAT reactions... first 5 times with a black marmer box with a pentagram on it.. inside a little bag i got from bazara de magia .... on a shoelace with a prediction written on it on normal paper slip

3 objects a parker pen/ key/ and a coin

now got a new box with wooden carving

with a old rusty key/ a burnt ripped tarot card (the devil)/ and a coin..

also made the prediction more old looking burnt edges crumbled etc...



IM going to a fantasy shop this weekend:D gonna go for a

fantasy coin ...
an pendolum
and a old key/lock

also gonna buy an ouija board whooeoeoeoe

Ohh for the people that wanna know my routine...

I produce the box and give them the pouch with prediction... they put it in there pocket bra around there neck whatever... i pick up the objects and tell them a 1 minute story about every object and give the object to them for examination after the story...

i start with the key then the other object and when im done with the coin i french drop it and tell the spectators to also examinate the coin... when the reach out to get it from the hand THEY THINK its in i make a little gag about the coin thats still on the table.. (just casualy place it on table with the hand u french dropped it in..)
