Infinity Wallet for Kolossal Killer

Postby philipksmith » Mar 23rd, '11, 21:59

I am considering using the Infinity Wallet for a presentation of Kolossal Killer. Has anyone tried this and got any tips (that can be published or via PM)?

I have slight concerns that the Infinity Wallet looks very thick for KK leading to the obvious accusation of multiple cards (if you know KK you will know what I mean).

Any ideas gratefully received.

Cheers

I don't have firsthand knowledge of the Infinity Wallet, but I have heard from some people that it's very big and bulky. From the images and videos I've seen, it does look like a giant wallet.

Other possible options would be the Outlaw Hideout wallet, but that also looks pretty big. The Showdown Wallet (Outlaw as well - I SWEAR I don't work for them) is smaller, and has a function that might work for it.

I know this isn't along the lines of what you're looking for (a wallet), but Bryn Reynold's has a fantastic ebook called the Safwan Papers which has a variation of KK in it that is very good, as well as the $4 index which you could use with the KK principle (it's especially good with Heirloom).

How about the Heirloom wallet? Purpose designed for the KK principle.

Thanks guys - I think I will get my own wallet out and purchase the Heirloom wallet.

As a note the Infinity Wallet (without anything inside) is deeper than a pack of Bicycles. I was just hoping to double up with other effects, but I don't think this is possible.

Martin Breese is currently selling (a very expensive) KK wallet, does anybody know how this differs from the Heirloom?

Do not buy infinity wallet for kk, Trust me it does not work smoothly. It is very big and bulky and does not look like an ordinary wallet.

You CAN perform KK if you only use 2 suits, as this is halfing the bulk if you know what I mean?

I have used it and was very unimpressed with it!

Impossible is nothing, if you only believe!

They are quite similar. In my opinion, the Heirloom Wallet is better value for money.

Heirloom has the advantage that it can be turned upside down and have a second set of pockets and dividers.

I've managed very successfully with an ordinary cheap billfold wallet. I used bank notes as dividers as suggested in Kenton's manuscript.

I deliberately put that in the past tense because I'm currently carrying an SAW as my everyday wallet. I can fit a 50% version of KK into that but I'm not very happy with it. I also carry a JOL Plus wallet when I'm wearing a suit, but that's too large for KK and would look very suspicious.

You have 3 options

1. Dont bother and go to another effect( maybe the less attractive for you ;))

2. Buy a special wallet that allows you that have a good index. Heirloom Wallet, Kolossal Killer Wallet, Hideout Wallet.

3. Dont go for the direct " Thought Card to pocket". and use different techniques to maintain the illusion ,as a final effect of "any card decided to wallet" .

I have the SAW 1.1 by now and I perform my version of "thought card to wallet" . Only one card used.

I have a few other variations for this types of effect, as a matter of fact I will release soon one in an new eBook about the use for card mixed with cellphones/smartphones.

I don't own an infinity wallet. However at the cafe heaps of people say they've been using heirloom with infinity. http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/view ... 2&start=60

Yes, the same as the official KK Wallet!

However, having checked mine, I see that the KK Wallet has white stitching round the pockets. It looks physically stronger than the Heirloom Wallet, but could perhaps not quite so useful in performance.

I have an old wallet that doubles as a KK..not great as the outs are limited as doubled up cards are required..but it works.

How much of an improvement is this KK/heirloom wallet ???
